The next steps will demonstrate how one can deploy a liferay portlet plugin.

1. Under the main menu ("welcome, Test Test!"), choose "My Places  My Community  Private Pages(1)"

You should now see the following private community page for the admin user test@liferay.com.

1. If you do not see the portlet "Admin", go to the main menu "welcome, Test Test!" and choose "Add Content". This will pop up a new window called "Add Content". Click on the category "Admin" and add the Admin portlet to your community place:

1. After adding the "Admin" portlet to your community place, you should see the portlet called "Admin" on your desktop:

1. Within the Admin portlet click on the tab "Plugins". From there click on the button "Install More Portlets".
2. Click on the tab "Upload File". Now you are able to upload the "jaxfront-portlet-example.war". Click on the button "Browse" ("Durchsuchen" in German) and select the jaxfront-portlet-example.war. Afterwords start deploying the plugin by clicking on the button "Install".

After a successfull installation of the JAXFront portlet example plugin, check the tomcat console. You should see the following entries:

The JAXFront portlet is now ready to use. It was deployed to the category called "Sample".

1. Click on the menu "Add Content" again and underneath the category "Sample", choose to add "JAXFront Test".
